We're Mike and Rachelle Longmuir, and we've proudly owned and operated Longmuir's Hidden Cove Cottages since August 2016. We look forward to welcoming you and helping make your stay on beautiful Lake Weslemkoon a memorable one.

A little about us...

Before making Hidden Cove our home, we spent more than 20 years vacationing with our families in the Bancroft area. Those cottage getaways created countless memories that our children still talk about today. Our summers were filled with fishing, boating, water sports, exploring the outdoors, and ending each day around the campfire roasting marshmallows under the stars.

Originally from the Niagara Region, we began looking for the opportunity to own and operate a cottage resort after our children had grown up and started their own families. With our combined backgrounds and experience, we knew we were ready for a new adventure—one where we could help other families create the same kind of lifelong memories that meant so much to us.

We found exactly what we were looking for in McArthurs Mills, at the north end of Lake Weslemkoon. Today, we're proud to call this beautiful area home and are grateful to share it with guests from near and far.

Over the years, we've taken great pride in continually improving the cottages, grounds, and amenities while maintaining the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere that keeps so many of our guests returning year after year. Whether you're here to fish, explore the trails, relax by the lake, or simply unplug and spend time with family and friends, our goal is to provide a comfortable, clean, and memorable cottage experience.
